The Hornets of Heyworth started off the first half strong behind the scoring of Ashley Hoegger and Savannah Ross. The Colts of Kincaid received the majority of their first half points from Madison Merano. Ashley Hoegger took over the second half of the game for the hornets finishing with 16 points. The Colts leading scorer was Madison Merano with 8. The Hornets executed a well-balanced offense for the win.
