Match Comments: The third place match-up saw the Panthers of St. Joseph take on the Warriors of Athens. The Panthers were on the attack from the starting serve opening with an Ace by #14 Emily Bigger. Athens struggled on serve receive and never seemed to get into any offensive rhythm. The Panthers saw offense from multiple players. As their setters were setting everyone including #10 Katelyn Berry behind the attack line. The second set saw St. Joseph jump out to an early lead again and dominated the set. Offensively, St. Joseph saw #32 Bailey Dowling dominate at the net. This is Athens first 4th place trophy at 7-3A and St. Joseph first third place trophy. Congratulations to both teams.
