Match Comments: The third quarterfinal match of the day pitted the Redbirds of Paris Mayo against the Warriors of Athens. Both teams saw the effects of jitters early on as they traded points and side-outs. On the second go around, #13 Cheyenne Anderson for Athens stepped up and served out the set with 8 straight service points and 3 aces. The second set saw the Warriors jump out to an early lead and once again #13 Anderson was tough to stop for the Redbirds. The Warriors were led at the net by #10 Adrien Barrett and #34 Sophia Chavis.
Congratulations to Paris Mayo on a great season. The Warriors of Athens will play in the last match of the day at 5:15 semi-final.
