The Saints got out to an early lead with some tough serving from Erika Moore. In addition, the Saints net play was pretty tough. McKahl English and Sarah Brady had kills early that extended the lead for the Saints. Olivia Nogle and Brianna Hopper answered with several kills for Holy Cross. Hannah Kownick and Olivia Frank both had kills late in the first set to help the Saints close out the set. In the second set, the Saints again got out to a lead with tough net play from Addy Loeffler, Kimmy Sendelbach and English. The Crusaders fought back behind the hitting of Hopper and the tough serving of Savannah Fitch. It was not enough to stop the attack of the Saints. Erika Moore finished the match with a kill for the Saints. Congratulations to Champaign Holy Cross on an outstanding season!
