Match Comments: In the first quarter-final of the day, the Knights of Raymond Lincolnwood met the Indians of Lewistown Central. Both teams were ready to get started and came out firing. Emily Hopper had several aces to get the Knights going early. Ashlyn Towery took over the net for the Indians putting down several kills that put Lewistown Central up 5-4. Karley Bruntjen sparked the Knights with a kill and then an ace to tie up the set. Cassidy Barr had a kill for the Indians and put the ball into the hands of Mackenzie Goldring for the serve. Goldring rattled off 12 service points to take the Indians to 23. It was Ashley Barclay who finished out the set for the Indians. In the second set, the Knights got out to a quick start. Emily Hopper started her team out with an ace and Haidyn Glick came up with a kill. The Indians started to come alive at the net with kills from Trisha Shawgo, Barr, and Barclay. The Indians cut the lead to 6-8. Elena Clark had a kill for the Knights to put them up 10-7. The Indians got the ball back, tied up the score, and then went ahead off of a kill by Barr. Goldring took over serving duties for the Indians and took them to 23, but it was Barclay who served out the match.

Lewistown Central moves on to the semi-finals this afternoon.
