Game Comments: The Lady Colts of Mendon Unity galloped their way past Seneca 39-11 to advance to the Class 2A semifinals in game three of today's quarterfinal action. After a low scoring first quarter, Mendon Unity began to dominate the post led by Jordan Hildebrand and her game high 14 points. The Colts limited the Raiders to just two points in a span of two quarters after allowing four in the first quarter. Meanwhile the Mendon Unity offense was hitting on all cylinders, scoring in double digits in the final three quarters of play despite only hitting on 6-20 free-throw attempts. Paige Hacker accounted for nearly half of her team's final output, scoring five points on the afternoon to lead the Raiders.
With the win, Mendon Unity has a date with the winner of Altamont and Bloomington Holy Trinity tonight at 6:30pm in the semifinals.
Congratulations go out to both teams for a hard-fought game.
