Game Comments: After narrowly escaping the jaws of defeat in the quarterfinals, the Monticello Sages took it up a several notches defeating Crest Hill Richland 58-20. Needless to say, points were at a premium for the Sages, specifically for Tatum McCall and Mica Allison. The duo combined for 36 of their team's record setting 58 points. With the victory, Monticello will take on Eureka in the Class 3A State Championship game next Thursday, December 6th at 7:30pm. The Third Place contest between Crest Hill Richland and Auburn JHS will take place prior to the Championship game at 6:00pm.
