Game Comments: The Champaign Jefferson Jaguars captured 3rd place in the 8th grade class 4A tournament with a 42-27 victory over the Springfield Grant Generals. Jefferson finishes their season with a 27-1 record while Grant closes out their campaign with a 23-3 record. Tori McCoy led the way for the Jaguars with 23 points as her height was just too much for Grant to handle. Congratulations to both teams on outstanding seasons and best of luck to the 8th graders as they move on to high school.
