Game Comments: The Piasa Southwestern Piasa Birds remained undefeated in their march to a state championship with a convincing 49-32 victory over the Mustangs of Lansing Memorial. Southwestern, now 26-0, will play in the 6:30 semifinal game later today against the winner of Springfield Grant and Minooka. The Piasa Birds jumped out to an early 17-5 lead after one quarter and never looked back. Madison Greeling and Kristen Cox led the way for Piasa with 12 and 10 points respectively. Gabrielle Cooper led all scorers as she poured in a game high 19 points for Memorial who end their season with a 21-2 record. Congrtulations to both teams.
