Game Comments: The first semi-final match up saw the Farmers of Farmington Central take on the Wooden Shoes of Teutopolis. #24 opened the game with a baseline three. After the opening three, Farmington dominated the boards in the first quarter their aggressive play caused several turnovers by Teutopolis that the Farmers converted into points. They took a 16-9 lead into the second quarter. It was a reverse of roles in the second quarter as the Wooden Shoes held the Farmers to 4 points and added 16 points taking a 5 point lead at the half.
The second half switched back again as the Farmers scored 12 in the third and held the Wooden Shoes to 6. The teams traded baskets in the start of the fourth and 25 Luke Ungrund of Teutopolis tied the game at 36 with a three from the top of the key. The Wooden Shoes took the lead with 3:00 to play in the game and wouldn�t relinquish it. Farmington had strong 1st and 3rd quarters, but trailed off in the end of the game. The Wooden Shoes went 5-6 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter making them when it counted when previously in the game they hadn�t made a free throw. They also had a balanced attack in the quarter seeing points from four different players. There were three players with 13 points each in this game. #34 Mitch Hardiek and #25 Luke Ungrund for Teutopolis and #32 Andre Whiteside for Farmington.

Farmington will play Thursday for the third place game and Teutopolis will play for their fourth state title in five years.
