Match Comments: In the third place match-up, the Saints of Bloomington Holy Trinity defeated the Lewistown Central Indians by a final score of two games to none. In the early goings of game one, the Indians were the team on fire, grabbing a quick 4-0 lead. Right back came the Saints however, as Bloomington Holy Trinity's front line began to assert itself. That effort was enough to eventually knot things up at 11 apiece. From there, Callie Slater took over for the Saints as she tallied five aces in game one to lead her team to victory by a final of 25-15. Slater and her teammates were at it again in game two, as they rallied from another early margin to take the lead. This time around, it was Kate Hoerdemann who smashed two big aces that led the charge for Bloomington Holy Trinity. Ashley Barclay and her Lewistown Central teammates put forth a valiant effort but in the end it was short as the Indians fell in game two 25-16. Hoerdemann finished with an impressive three aces and six service points, while three Indians all tied with one ace apiece.
