Game Comments: In the third quarter-final of the day, the Little Giants of Canton Ingersoll faced the Spartans of Frankfort Summit Hill. The Little Giants got out to a quick lead on the Spartans in part due to tenacious defense. Their offensive fire-power came from Alex Chamberlain who dropped in 6 of her 12 points in the first quarter. The Spartans looked to the scoring of Kaley Sheehan and Katrina Savic who both had 4 points a piece in the second quarter. Their offensive efforts and the tough defense of Amber Brooks brought the Spartans to within 7 as they closed out the first half. In the third quarter, the Spartans were solid at the free-throw line, going 4 for 6. Cassidy Fawcett provided the offensive spark for the Little Giants dropping in 8 of her 17 points in the third. This provided the offensive momentum that the Little Giants needed going in to the fourth quarter. Again, Fawcett put the pressure on offensively for Ingersoll in the fourth quarter. Karley Sheehan contributed 5 points for the Spartans in the fourth quarter. Sheehan finished with 13 points for the Spartans. Cassidy Fawcett finished with 17 points for the Little Giants.

Congratulations to Frankfort Summit Hill on an outstanding season!
