Game Comments: The Bloomington Holy Trinity Saints captured third place honors of the 8th grade Class 2A girls basketball tournament with a 36-29 victory over Assumption Central A & M. The Saints were led in scoring by Bailey Coffman with 12 points while the Raiders were led by Channing Collins with a game high 15 points. Holy Trinity seemed to have control of the game after outscoring Central A & M 13-4 in the second quarter as the Saints took a 22-14 lead into the locker room at halftime. The Raiders outscored the Saints 15-14 in the second half but the lead the Saints built in the second quarter was enough to propel the Saints to victory. Congratulations to both teams on outstanding seasons.
