| Game Comments: The Brimfield Indians took care of business Saturday afternoon and advanced to the Final Four of the 8th grade Class 2A tournament with a 23-9 victory over the Eagles of Bismarck-Henning. Brimfield (25-1) will now play in the second semifinal contest of the afternoon at approximately 6:30 later today. The Indians jumped to an early 11-4 lead after one period and never looked back. They used a pressure defense to cause numerous turnovers. Kamryn Cuevas led Brimfield with 8 points as she scored all six of her team's points in the third quarter. Annie Nelson led the Eagles with 5 points. Good luck to Brimfield and congratulations to both teams. |
