The Wolverines took the lead in the first quarter with some great outside shooting early on, but the Suns managed to get some stops even though they were slow to start their offense. In the second quarter, the Wolverines continued their high pressure defense causing turnovers and converting those into points. They held the Suns to 8 points in the entire first half and took a 9 point lead into the locker-room. The second half saw the Wolverines increase their lead as the Suns continued to struggle on offense. Leading scorer for the game was #5 Kaelyn Froebe with 22 points.
