The Hilltoppers jumped out of the gate and dominating the boards on offense and defense. Their swarming defense caused problems for the Lady Hawks guards bringing the ball up the court and the Hilltoppers were able to convert several fast breaks into easy lay-ups. #3 Arieal Scott had 3 three point baskets in the second quarter to help pad the Hilltoppers lead going into the half. The second half of play saw the Hilltoppers slow down their offense a bit and the Lady Hawks had some great defense stops in the half, but the deficit was too much to overcome. Leading scorer for the game was Arieal Scott from Danville Schlarman with 16 points. Danville Schlarman will play in the 5:00 semi-final game tonight.
