Both teams worked through some nerves in the first quarter of play. The second quarter saw the Wolverines increase their defense with their full court press and cause problems for Tonica bringing the ball up the court. Lincoln scored 6 quick points at the start of the quarter as they began to pull away. They put up 15 points in the quarter and gave themselves a 19-7 lead at the half. The 3rd quarter saw the Wolverines add to their lead and Tonica couldn’t come back. Leading scorer for the game was #5 Kaelyn Froebe with 15 points. West Lincoln-Broadwell will play in the semifinal game tonight.
