| Game Comments: The second quarterfinal match-up saw the Raiders from Bourbonnais St. George take on the Brimfield Indians. The Indians jumped out to an early lead and dominated the boards. They played a high pace offense; grabbing a rebound and a quick pass to half court had St. George scrambling. Fundamentally, St. George was sound, but couldn’t get a basket to drop until the second quarter. At the half Brimfield had a 19-4 lead that they would not relinquish. Leading scorer for the game was #33 Lexi Snyder with 11 points for Brimfield. #13 Kamryn Cueves added 7 with a three point basket to start the second half right out of the locker-room. Congratulations to both teams on a great season. Brimfield will face Springfield St. Agnes in the 5:00 semi-final game. |
