Luke Stokowski continued his impressive state tournament play, tallying a game high 21 points. Stokowski and his teammates found early momentum thanks to solid defense and key ball movement on the offensive end. Johnny Dawson also turned in a strong performance, tallying six points and consistently finding guys open. On the flip side, the Cubs of Marshall JHS struggled offensively, notching only eight points in the first half. Those first half woes put the Cubs in a hole for the remander of the game, even though Marshall outscored Monticello in the fourth quarter. Wade Tharp led the Cubs with seven points on the evening.
