Game Comments: Jacksonville Our Saviour continued their winning ways on Saturday with a 36-31 victory over the Lancers of Joliet Laraway. Our Saviour remains undefeated and will take their 26-0 record into the second semifinal game of the day at 6:30 tonight. This was a close game throughout as the taller Shamrocks were able to hold off the Lancers and their quickness. Laraway got a three pointer from Don Joachim near the end of the first half to pull the Lancers to within two at halftime, 20-18. Laraway scored the first basket of the 2nd half to tie the game at 20 but the Shamrocks used numerous second chances from offensive rebounds to keep Laraway at bay. Hunter Chumley hit two huge 3 point baskets in the 4th quarter as he paced the Shamrocks with 13 points. Congratulations to both teams.
