| Game Comments: Washington MS Starters: 3, 13, 21, 22, 53. Madison Starters: 13, 24, 32, 34, 50. Washington's Isaac Fisher went coast to coast for a layup with 1:31 left in the first quarter to tie the score at 11-11. He scored again with 1:18 left when he stole the ball and drove for a layup and a 13-11 lead for the Panthers. Washington surged to a 19-13 lead in the second quarter. Madison's Harold Sullivan made a put back rebound with 3:05 left in the half for Madison's last points of the quarter. Sullivan's layup made the deficit 19-15. Isaac Fisher scored for Washington at the 2:41 mark for the 21-15 halftime margin. A steal layup by Washington's 6-2, 218-pound post player Jared Holloman with 3:15 to go in the third quarter gave the Panthers a 30-19 lead and they never looked back. Madison made one run early in the fourth quarter and cut the deficit to 35-27 on a layup by Lanez Gregory, but Washington turned the heat back up and won going away. |
