Match Comments: The Eureka Hornets improved their season record to 24-2 with a 25-20, 25-14 victory over the Raiders of Toledo Cumberland. Eureka (24-2) will now play in the semifinal game later this afternnon against the winner of the Beecher/Auburn JHS contest. Cumberland finishes their season with a 15-9 mark. Eureka started off fast in the first set with a very strong service game and just when it appeared as though the Hornets were going to have an easy first set vicory, Cumberland made a nice comeback but simply could not get over the hump to take set one. The second set was all Eureka as their offense was simply too much for the smaller Raiders. Congratulations to both teams.
