| Match Comments: The third semifinal match saw the Patriots of New Lenox Liberty face the Indians of Minooka. Minooka took an early lead in the first set getting service points from several of their players. New Lenox had a few jitters to work through in the first set but settled down in the second set. Kerrigan Fritz started the Patriots off with 8 straight service points and was backed by some great defense and the patriots took the second set 25-15. The final set of the match saw the Indians settle back into a better serving rotation. Madalyn O'Dette gave the Indians a four point lead they would not relinquish. Congratulations to both teams on a great season and good luck to Minooka in the rest off the tournament. |
