Match Comments: In the Consolation match, the Indians of Lewistown Central faced the Tigers of Gardner. Both teams struggled with serving early in the first set. About halfway through the first set, Emilie Palmer sparked the Indian offense and rattled off 8 consecutive service points. This put the Indians up. Sydney Perkins answered for the Tigers and served out the set with 11 consecutive service points. Lexi Robison aided the Tiger comeback with 2 blocks and a kill. In the second set, tough serving by Ashley Towery pushed the lead for the Indians. Emilie Palmer contributed 2 kills for the Indians in their offensive attack. Lexi Robison did her best to spark the Tiger offense with 2 kills. It was not enough as the Indians closed out the second set. In the final set, the Tigers struggled to find their rhythm. Amanda Pratt came alive in the final set for the Indians and hammered 3 kills. It was Ashley Barclay who found her serving rhythm and fired off 12 consecutive service points sealing the win for the Indians.
