Match Comments: In the first semi-final match, the Suns of Augusta Southeastern met the Indians of Lewistown Central. Both teams traded points early in the first set and shared great offensive plays at the net. Ashley Barclay, Emilie Plamer, Amanda Pratt, and Taryn Welker all had kills for the Indians. Josie Welker contributed a block for Lewistown Central. On the other side of the net, Kolby McClelland had kills and 3 key blocks for the Suns. Madison Fox had 10 consecutive points for the Suns that closed out the first set. In the second set, the Suns continued to dominate at the net. McClelland and Fox both put up a strong wall and contributed a block a piece. Brittany Twidwell rattled off 5 consecutive points for the Suns and that was enough to put the lead out of reach.

Congratulations to both teams. Lewistown Central will play in the Consolation game on Tuesday night. Augusta Southeastern will play in the Championship game on Tuesday night.
