Lewistown played tough defense from the tip and denied the inside opportunity for the Braves. Trisha Shawgo put the Indians up early scoring 5 points in the first quarter. The Indians capitalized on fast break opportunities and offensive rebounds in the second quarter and pushed their lead going into the half-time break. Mackenzie Goldring scored 4 points for the Indians in the second quarter. Braves of Nokomis came out the break with renewed energy and attacked on defense. The Braves held the Indians to 7 points in the third quarter. Nokomis stepped up their offense behind Brea Cox who dropped in a big 3 point basket for the Braves in the third quarter. The fourth quarter finished quietly for both teams as the Indians whittled away the time on the clock.
