Game Comments: The second semi-final of the night had the Bluegirls of Carthage facing the Braves of Nokomis. Both teams put on a great defensive battle and kept with game within 4 points. In the second half, Carthage capitalized on some turnovers and some great shooting from Baylee Clampitt who had 10 points in the first half for the Bluegirls. Nokomis rallied in the second half coming out of the locker room with great defensive pressure. Kayla Stander had 4 points in the third quarter for the Braves. Carthage turned the pressure back up late in the third behind a 3 point shot by Clampitt. The Bluegirls took the momentum into the fourth quarter. Carthage took care of the ball and worked the clock.
