Game Comments: In the first quarterfinal of the game, the Cougars of Springfield Christ the King met the Indians of Lewistown Central. The Cougars got out to an early lead behind the hot shooting of Carissa Reedy who had 7 of her 12 points in the first half. The Indians rallied in the second quarter and had a balanced scoring effort from 5 different players to narrow the gap going into the halftime break. Both teams had a steady offensive effort in the third quarter matching basket for basket. In the fourth quarter, the Indians caught fire behind Anna Heffren. Heffren a 6th grader came off the bench to hit a huge basket and tossed in 4 free throws to cap the win for Lewistown Central.

Lewistown Central moves on to the semi-finals Wednesday evening at 5:30.
