Game Comments: The Wildcats of Country Club Hills Southwood met the Meteors of Mokena in the third quarter-final contest of the day. Mokena dominated the boards in the first half and handled the swarming press of the Wildcats well. Hayley Papoccia scored 7 of her 11 points in the first half for the Meteors. The Meteros controlled the interior so Vivian Imarenezor stepped outside and put up 5 points for the Wildcats to bring them close before the halftime break. In the second half, the Wildcats looked to their outside shooters and closed the gap. Both teams were in a scoring frenzy in the fourth quarter. Again, Imarenezor did what she could to keep her team in the game scoring 7 points in the fourth quarter. The Meteors held on despite a last minute rally by the Wildcats. Vivian Imarenezor finished with 12 points for the Wildcats. Hayley Papoccia finished with 11 points for the Meteors.
