Game Comments: The Cavaliers of Normal Kingsley met the Wildcats of Mattoon in the second quarter-final of the day. The Cavaliers got out to an early lead with their pressure defense and spot-on execution. Normal Kingsley was led in scoring in the first half by Raven Hughes who had 8 of her 12 points early on. The Cavaliers continued to put on the pressure in the second half holding the Wildcats to 4 points in the third. Amber Nanni stepped up the Cavalier scoring with 6 points in the third. In the fourth quarter, the Wildcats found their rhythm. Avery Jackson scored 7 of her 13 points in the fourth for the Wildcats.

Normal Kingsley will meet New Lenox Martino in the semi-finals this evening. |
