Game Comments: In the last quarterfinal game of the day, it was the Griggsville-Perry Eagles taking on the Pana Sacred Heart St. Pats. St. Pats’ Abby Holthaus helped her team get off to a quick start when she grabbed a rebound and went back up with a nice layup. Kobie McCallister led her team with six points of her own to help the Eagles get back into the game in the second quarter. The St. Pats would hold a 13 point lead heading into the half. The St. Pats’ offense was ignited by a three pointer from Renee Waddington in the third quarter. The Eagles’ Mikayla Smith hit a three of her own in the fourth, but it would not be enough. The St. Pats take the game by a final score of 42-30. They advance to the semifinals where they will meet the Bartonville Monroe Flyers in the 6:30 p.m. game. Congratulations to the Griggsville-Perry Eagles on a terrific game.
