| Game Comments: The Consolation Game featured the Knights of Ottawa Marquette versus the Cissna Park Wildcats. Both teams got off to a great start, trading baskets throughout most of the first quarter. The Knights caught fire in the second quarter behind the shooting of Kendall Kaufmann who scored 7 of her 12 points in the second quarter. The Knights closed off the first half with a lead of 7 points. The Wildcats have certainly shown themselves as a second half team throughout the tournament. This was no exception. Alexis Knake scored6 of her 8 points in the second half for the Wildcats. Unfortunately, it was not enough to cut the lead the Knights had created. Leading scorers for the Wildcats were Samantha Hasselbring and Alexis Knake who both had 8 points. Leading scorers for the Knights were Kendall Kaufmann with 12 points and Sydnee Stalker with 10 points. Congratulations to both teams on outstanding seasons. |
