Game Comments: The last quarter-final of the day featured the Falcons of Springfield Little Flower and the Wildcats of Cissna Park. The first half was dominated by the Falcons. Their defense only allowed 3 points to be scored in the first half. Ashleigh Cearlock made all of her 5 points in the first quarter to push the Falcons in to the early lead. The Wildcats turned things around in the second half looking like a new team. Samantha Hasselbring jump-started her team scoring 8 of her 9 points in the second half. The Wildcats cut the lead and tied up the score in the middle of the fourth quarter. From there, it was a defensive battle. Neither team scored until late in the fourth. One free throw made the difference for the Wildcats. Leading scorer for the Falcons was Ashleigh Cearlock with 5 points. Leading scorers for the Wildcats were Samantha Hasselbring with 9 points and Addison Stoller with 4 points. Congratulations to both teams. The Wildcats move on to the semi-final game this evening.
