Game Comments: Game 3 was featured the Lady Colts of Cairo and the undefeated Wildcats of Bourbonnais Maternity BVM. The offensive control of the Wildcats put them on top early. Corinne O'Connor of Maternity scored 14 of her 21 points in the first half of play. For the Colts, Takena Taylor had a big first half scoring 11 of her 21 points early. After the half, Maternity stepped up defensively and pressured the Colts. The Colts responded in late in the game with a big fourth quarter. Takena Taylor took on the Colts on her shoulders scoring 8 points in the fourth quarter. Leading scorers for the Wildcats were Hanna Mitchell with 20 points and Corinne O'Connor with 21 points. Leading scorers for the Colts were Koree Simelton and Makayla Hicks with 10 points and Takena Taylor with 21 points. Congratulations to both teams. The Wildcats move on to the semi-final game this evening.
