Game Comments: The final quarterfinal match-up of the day saw the Panthers of Washington MS take on the Crusaders of Quincy Blessed Sacrament. The Panthers took it out fast in this match-up. Pressing and wreaking havoc on the guards for Quincy. On their offense #2 Payton Havens pushed the ball up the court dishing to multiple options. The second quarter the Panthers slowed the play down spreading their offense to all four corners and forced the Crusaders defense out.
The second half saw the Crusaders came out in the second half with a new fire, but the 19 point lead at half was too much to overcome. Leading scorer for the game was Payton Havens of Washington with 20 points. Congratulations to Quincy Blessed Sacrament on a great season. Washington Middle School will play GCMS in the 6:30 semi-final game.
