Game Comments: In the Championship game, the Pythons of Normal Parkside faced the Warriors Bolingbrook Humphrey. Normal Parkside got out quick offensively behind the scoring of Drew Wollenschlager who scored 8 of his 18 points in the first quarter. Zaquail Biggs led the Warriors in the first quarter with 4 of his 6 points coming in the paint. The swarming defense of the Pythons disrupted the Warriors offensively and Parkside was able to capitalize. Dylan Yonker led the Pythons in scoring in the second quarter with 4 points. The Pythons had built a sizable lead going in to the halftime break. The Pythons continued to attack offensively with 5 different players scoring in the third quarter. It was Wollenschlager who led the Pythons in scoring in the third quarter with 8 more points. In the fourth quarter, the Warriors were led by David Brooks who tossed in a big 3 point basket late in the game. Michael Werkman and Tyler Calhoun scored for the Pythons to wrap up the fourth quarter. The Warriors were led in scoring by Zaquail Biggs and Kyonte Thomas both with 6 points each. The Pythons were led in scoring by Drew Wollenschlager.

Congratulations to Bolingbrook Humphrey who finishes their season in second place with a record of 18-4.
