Game Comments: In the second quarter-final of the day the Tigers of Urbana met the Warriors of Bolingbrook Humphrey. Both teams were evenly matched and got off to a great start. Tough defense was played on both ends and it was tough for shooters to get in a rhythm. In the second half, Urbana turned to their 3 point shooters to spark their offense. Humphrey answered with a 3point shot of their own. Solid shooting at the line put the Warriors up at the half. In the second half, the Warriors kept up their solid shooting at the free-throw line. It was the offensive attack of Deshun Sanders that put the Tigers back in to the game going in to the fourth quarter. The Warriors swung the offensive momentum their way behind the shooting of Devon Jones who had two huge 3 point baskets in the fourth quarter to solidify the victory for the Warriors.
Congratulations to Urbana MS on an outstanding season!
Bolingbrook Humphrey advances to the semi-finals this evening. |
