Game Comments: The second semi-final of the night pitted the Pythons of Normal Parkside against the Jaguars of Springfield Jefferson. Both teams were evenly matched as the game began with a tightly contested first quarter. Both teams played great defense and scoring on both ends came with great difficulty. As the first half ended, Lamontay Daugherty led the Jaguars with 6 points and Cole Hernández led the Pythons with 6 points. As the third quarter got started, both teams were fired up offensively. Evan Huston scored 5 points in the third for the Pythons. Daugherty continued to drive the Jaguars offensively with 6 points in the third quarter. This kept the game close as the teams went into the final quarter. The Normal Parkside defense held the Jaguars to 2 points in the fourth quarter and solid shooting at the free throw line helped the Pythons close out the game. Lamontay Daughtery led the Jaguars with 12 points. Brady Stoewer led the Pythons with 10 points.

Springfield Jefferson will play in the Consolation game on Thursday at 6:00 p.m.

Normal Parkside will play in the Championship game on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
