Game Comments: The second quarter-final game put the Eagles of Matteson Colin Powell against the Comets of Quincy. It was a competitive first half for both teams. Quincy looked to their outside shooters to get up early on the Eagles. Clayton Moore and Jacob Art both had three-point baskets in the first quarter for the Comets. The Eagles tightened up their defensive pressure in the second half. Chase Robinson had 9 points for the Eagles and put them up 4 going in to the half-time break. The Eagles continued to challenge the Comets defensively. The Eagles worked well inside the paint and continued to extend their lead in the second half. Brandon Hurt scored 8 points in the second half for the Eagles.
