IESA HeadlinesState Farm Provides Service Learning Grant OpportunityA solid financial future depends on mastering solid money-management skills. State Farm is committed to educating today�s students on the importance of being financially prepared and responsible as they start their lives after high school and college. The State Farm Great Lakes Zone is awarding ten, $2,000 grants to support service-learning projects focusing on educating today�s youth and/or adults on the fundamentals of good money habits - plan carefully, spend wisely, save regularly and invest knowledgeably. This grant was created to assist schools and organizations with service learning projects that address a financial education issue within their school and/or community. Project proposals must address the emphasis of educating students and/or adults on the importance of understanding how to plan, spend, save and invest wisely. More information is provided in this request for proposal (RFP). The deadline for submission is April 1, 2007.
