Augusta Southeastern Good Sport Report
Shout out to softball Coach Mary Quigle from Augusta Southeastern! She encourages her players all the time and explains to them what she expects. She is an asset to the sport and the kids, not to mention the school.
Clare Murphy
Former student at Orland Hills Cardinal Bernardin School
The foundation of interscholastic activities must be sportsmanship. By valuing and demonstrating good sportsmanship, we become stronger players, giving a greater contribution to our team, the overall sport, and the community. We must prove ourselves as trustworthy members of our team, setting goals for individual improvement and team advancement. Sportsmanship requires supporting team goals above individual recognition, and demonstrating the highest commitment to fair play. We must be dependable and reliable, as our level of dedication and determination affects the entire team.

The value of sportsmanship is unending. It is something that can be applied to all aspects of life. One can take the lessons learned in the gym, and apply them, not only now, but into the future. Sportsmanship can aid one in being a better citizen, friend, parent, employee, and employer.
