Match Comments: The final semi of the day pitted the Eagles of Paris Crestwood against the Minutemen of Lexington. Paris Crestwood started out with tough serving and great defense to build a lead over the Minutemen. A kill from Jayden Standish put the ball back in the hands of Lexington. Emma Pinkston had a strong serving run to bring the Minutemen within 3 points. Tracy Michal had a kill for the Eagles that brought the momentum back to the side of Paris Crestwood. Standish had 3 kills near the end of the set to bring the Minutemen back within 3. Michal finished off the first set with a kill for the Eagles. In the second set, it was the Minutemen that got out to a quick start offensively. Kennedy Weese had 2 kills early for Lexington. Paris Crestwood played some great defense and climbed back in to the match. Skylar Friedmansky had a kill for the Eagles that sparked the offense. Standish answered for the Minutemen with 3 kills. Annika Cappis came alive late in the second set and had a key kill and ace for the Eagles. Sara Burger also contributed a kill for the Eagles that pushed them in to the lead. It was then Pinkston that took over and had 2 kills that put the Eagles up 24-19. The Eagles continued to play good defense to finish the match.

Lexington will play in the Consolation game Tuesday at 5:30.

Paris Crestwood will play in the Championship game on Tuesday at 6:45.
