Match Comments: In the third quarterfinal match the Warriors of Pontiac took on the Falcons of Springfield Franklin. The Warriors got out to a quick lead behind the serving of Emma Bolinger. This rattled the serve receive of the Warriors. The Falcons also did a great job of dominating the net. Chyanne Conkrite had 4 kills and Olivia Riemer had 3 kills for the Falcons. The Warriors rallied late in the first set behind the consistent serving of Loryn Beal. In the second set, the Falcons again got out to an early lead again behind the serving of Bolinger. Net play fell to the favor of the Falcons. Riemer and Amy Balster each had 2 kills for the Falcons in the second. The Falcons finished out the match with a tough serve.
Congratulations to Pontiac on an outstanding season.
Springfield Franklin moves on to the semifinals this evening.
