Match Comments: The final semi-final matchup saw the Dragons of Grant Park face the Lancers of Decatur. Passing errors plagued both teams early on in the first set. Late in the set Savana Sparks stepped up for the Lancers and rattled off 7 consecutive since points and 3 aces. 5 kite Oldaipupo put the final point home with a kill down the middle. In the second set both teams again struggled to put together consecutive points trading sideout points early in the set. Kite Oldaipupo gave the Lancers the lead with her jump serve 14-9. Grant Park made a run late in the set on the serving of 7 Haley Garbaciak who took the set to 22-24, but the comeback was a bit too late. Oldaipupo's serving and net play up the middle gave the Lancers a big boost. Additional net play and serving from Casey Cooper and Amber Johnson gave Decatur OLOL they help they needed to advance to the championship match on Tuesday.
