Game Comments: The Crusaders of Quincy Blessed Sacrament ended their season on a winning note Thursday night by defeating Dolton Lincoln, 37-30 to claim third place in the Class 3A tournament. The Crusaders ended their season with a 10-7 record while the Eagles of Lincoln finished the season with a record of 18-3. The game was fairly close throughout as Blessed Sacrament held a two point lead after one period and only led by three at halftime. However, a strong third quarter push gave the Crusaders a seven point lead and they were able to hang on for the third place title. Tionne Colyer had another terrific game as she led all scorers with 16 points. Molly Penn scored a team high 12 points for the Crusaders. Congratulations to both teams.
