| Game Comments: The Chatham Glenwood Titans defeated Urbana MS Saturday afternoon, 31-18 and will now play Morton JHS in the second semifinal game of the evening. The winner of the contest will then play in the championship game of the 7th grade Class 4A tournament on Thursday, December 6. Glenwood controlled the game with the Tigers from the very beginning leading 9-2 after one period and 22-2 at halftime. Although Urbana outscored Glenwood 16-9 in the second half, the 20 point halftime deficit was simply too much for the Tigers to overcome as they ended their season with a 17-8 record. Haley Icenogle paced the Titans in scoring with 10 points while Lauren Cross led Urbana with eight points. Congatulations to both teams. |
