Game Comments: It was a slow first half for the Consolation Championship. Both teams took the first quarter to get adjusted to each other. The press of Washington Central frustrated the Lady Monarchs of South Holland early. The Trojans began to build a lead in the second quarter and took that lead into the halftime. Mady McCoy scored 12 of her 17 points in the first half for the Trojans. The Lady Monarchs got the ball into the hands of Amara Gray who helped keep her team in the game. The Trojans stayed hot through the second half behind McCoy and Hannah Heinz. Heinz scored 7 points in the second half. Both teams finished strong, but it was the Trojans early lead that sealed the win.

Congratulations to both teams on outstanding seasons.
