Game Comments: The first semi-final got off to a slow start. The Lady Monarchs of South Holland McKinley and the Cardinals of Pleasant Plains traded baskets through the first quarter and had a defensive battle in the second quarter. The Lady Monarchs came alive in the third quarter behind the three-point shooting of Lindzy Cox. Cox made 3 three-point baskets in the second half. The Cardinals relied upon steady free-throw shooting to seal the win. Leading scorer for South Holland- Lindzy Cox with 11 points. Leading scorer for Pleasant Plains- Alyssa Hermes with 10 points.

South Holland McKinley will play in the Consolation Championship on Thursday.
Pleasant Plains will play in the Championship game also on Thursday.
