| Game Comments: The Championship Game featured the Farmers of Farmington Central versus the Panther Cubs of Litchfield. The Farmers got out to a quick start in the first quarter going ahead by 6 points. The Panther Cubs rallied in the second quarter behind outstanding defense. Riley Scharf led the Panther Cubs in the second quarter scoring 6 of her 18 points. After the half, both teams came out shooting. Allyz Camp scored all 7 of her points in the third quarter for the Farmers. Tessa Steffens scored 4 of her points in the third quarter for the Panther Cubs. The fourth quarter was dominated by the Panther Cubs. Riley Scharf again led the scoring for Litchfield in the final minutes. She scored 6 more points in the fourth quarter and ended the game with 18 points. Leading scorers for the Farmers were Hannah Jostes with 12 points and Allyz Camp with 7 points. Leading scorers for the Panther Cubs were Riley Scharf with 18 points and Tessa Steffens with 9 points. Congratulations to both teams on outstanding seasons. |
