It was a workmanlike performance for the Panther Cubs as they did not let a sluggish start affect them. The Redbirds jumped out to a 9-5 lead after one period but Litchfield came roaring back in the 2nd quarter, outscoring Plains 18-4 in the second period alone. The teams played a good second half but Litchfield was simply too much for the Redbirds. Litchfield, which will take a 26-1 record into the championship game was led in scoring by Tessa Steffens and Riley Scharf each with 10 points. Summer Sabo led Pleasant Plains with 8 points.
